Terms of Service

You may use ActMate if you are 13 years of age or older. By creating an account you confirm that:

• All information you provide is accurate and up to date.
• You will keep your login credentials secure and not share them.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

When using ActMate, you agree to:

• Treat other players with respect — no harassment, discrimination, or abusive language.
• Only organise activities that are legal and safe in your local area.
• Not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Not use the platform for commercial promotion without our prior consent.
• Follow all applicable local laws and venue rules at every event.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice in cases of serious or repeated violations.

When you join or organise a game on ActMate:

• You commit to attending in good faith unless circumstances prevent it.
• If you cannot attend, you must update the game or notify the organiser as soon as possible so others can plan accordingly.
• Organisers are responsible for clearly communicating game details — location, time, skill level, and cost — before publishing.
• Players agree to pay their share of expenses as stated in the game listing.
• Persistent no-shows or payment disputes may result in your account being restricted.

ActMate displays a per-person cost share for games where the organiser has added expenses (e.g. venue hire). These figures are calculated automatically from the total expense divided by the maximum number of players.

ActMate does not process payments — all cost sharing is arranged directly between players. We are not responsible for disputes arising from payment arrangements made outside the platform.
